How to find us:
The Institute of Danube Swabian History and Regional Studies (IdGL) is located on the edge of the university district.
ON FOOT:
The Institute is about 20 minutes’ walk from Tübingen Central Station. Cross over Neckar Bridge and continue along Mühlstrasse and Wilhelmstrasse. For further details please refer to the City of Tübingen’s official maps.
BY CAR:
If you come via the A81 motorway, please take the Herrenberg exit. If you come to Tübingen from Stuttgart via the B27, take the Lustnau/Böblingen exit. If you come from Reutlingen, when you reach the outskirts of Tübingen please take the B27 in the direction of Stuttgart and then the next exit (Lustnau/Böblingen).

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
To reach the Institute from Tübingen Central Station, please take the No. 1, 2, or 7 bus to the Lothar-Meyer-Bau stop.
The No. 6 bus goes straight to the Institute (Mohlstrasse stop).

The nearest airport is Stuttgart. The No. 826 bus operates regularly from the airport to Tübingen.
